课程简介

《英美文学课程》是为英语专业高年级学生和外国文学爱好者开设的入门课程。通过本课程学习,学生将初步了解英美文学概观,掌握英美文学史中的发展脉络和基本主题,提高人文素养和审美水平。本课程将文学史和文学批评有机结合,注重文本的细读和品评。授课团队从文学史中精心选出18位最具代表性的作家进行研读,涉及包括《哈姆雷特》、《失乐园》、《傲慢与偏见》、《瓦尔登湖》和《喧嚣与骚动》等不朽经典。此外,本课程还将带领学生涉猎文学研究的前沿,思考文学与历史,文学与文化,文学与现代世界的关系,并以此加强对学生思辨能力和批判性思维的培养。
