该课程为江西省首批精品在线建设课程。
本课程为外国语学院与本校“江西现代农业及其产业可持续发展的决策支持协同新中心”联合打造，是农业院校英语校本课程的努力探索，是用英语讲好中国故事的生动实践，是语言教学与专业结合的有益尝试，是英语与农业知识的优质结合。此外，本课程自编教材由国内顶级出版社外语教学与研究出版社出版，教材质量获得该出版社高度肯定。
