课程简介

课程《主题英语阅读》以高等教育出版社的《大学体验英语》(提高目标下册)为课程教材,以教材提供的主题为单元学习线索,通过主题探索,从不同视角深入思考和分析问题,认识世界。并在“体验”主题的过程中提升英语应用能力。

本课程包含五个单元内容,单元主题涵盖了家庭、文化、职场、商业与伦理,全球化话题。课程通过Lead in视频和文章,探索单元主题的现实意义,建立起学习者与阅读主题之间的联系,激发学习者思考主题相关话题。通过深度分析主题相关两篇深度好文的思路历程,并仔细讲解重点词汇和语法结构,使学习者在深度思考主题的同时理解英语的语篇特征,提升学生的语言能力。同时,每个单元围绕当前话题推荐一篇拓展阅读文章,开拓学习者视野,从而更全面地了解主题。我们选择了一些文体轻松、内容亲切现实的英语素材,设计了一些有话可说、有话愿说的练习,使英语成为一种大家愿意参加的愉快经历和体验。

重庆大学5位资深英语教师通力合作,认真选材、精心设计、详细阐释,以期在启发学习者思考的同时,提供给学习者最地道的英语,引导学习者用英语去搜集信息、处理分析信息并能够最终传递信息,表达思想。
