本课程由北京高校27位优秀教师分讲。内容覆盖跨文化交际知识和口语交流技巧,能够在提高大学生口语能力的同时培养学生的跨文化意识,增强跨文化交际能力。

 一、2019年3月,北京高校大学英语教育发展中心组织启动课程建设工作,北京25家高校每校推选出一名荣获过各级各类教学奖励,且教学效果良好的青年教师参加系列微课的建设与录制工作。北京高校大学英语教育发展中心北京第二外国语学院张喜华组织系列专家论证和审订工作,把关课程体例,选定课程内容,编写课程模块,开展团队培训,审阅修改课件。历时近一年,在全体27名优秀教师的共同努力下,完成了跨文化交际口语系列微课52讲的录制工作。本课程聚焦跨文化核心内容,基于真实场景,结合口语技巧,旨在提升学生的跨文化意识,提升学生的跨文化能力,培养能服务首都国家交往功能的跨文化交流人才。

本课程为招投标项目,是在北京市教委高教处专项资金支持下开展的大学英语基础课程共建共享项目。项目通过公开招投标的形式由项目组与中标公司进行反复沟通,共同建设完成。本课程的目标是响应国家基础课程建设资源共享的要求,集合北京高校优质教师资源,开展大学用于口语共建共享基础课程建设,课程以口语教学的形式,聚焦跨文化能力的培养,符合国家对大学英语教学中培养学生跨文化能力的要求,符合为服务首都国际交往功能而培养人才的需求。课程目标为由市属高校联合教师团队27名优秀教师主讲口语微课五十二讲,内容涉及跨文化领域基本观点和应用领域。

二、与同类课程相比,本系列在线微课五十二讲集合25校优势,由每校推荐一名教学效果好,获过教学奖励的教师主讲。每讲涉及一个跨文化知识点的讲解和运用,内容讲解清晰,画面和音效质量高。团队统一建设,52讲内容适合学生随时随地碎片化学习,适合教师作为口语教学和跨文化教学的补充学习,适合开展翻转课堂教学。本课程独特的优势是多校共建共享,上线国家级教学平台,各校访问学习无障碍,是北京高校大学英语教学资源共建共享的重大突破。

 三、本课程属于口语课程和跨文化课程的有机结合,具有课程基础。本校和共建学校都开设有大学英语类课程,都注重学生跨文化交际能力的培养。课程视频已经制作完成,且已经上传本校云平台和高等教育出版社外语智能学习平台ismart平台。课程开放学习,教师和学生可以灵活使用。北京共建高校因校制宜,对课程资源的使用一校一策。
