课程简介
英语影视欣赏课程初设于2003年，是苏州大学“大学英语应用类课程”之一，2009年获“国家精品课程”荣誉，2016年荣获教育部第一批“国家精品资源共享课”称号，2020年获评首批“国家级一流本科课程”。
本课程拥有21年开课历史，理念创新、积淀深厚、特色鲜明、资源丰富。迄今全校各专业已有上万名学生选修了该课程。
课程选取欧美经典影片和鲜活的语言素材，引导学生学习赏析电影作品中的英美历史文化，教学引人入胜，以“个性化、多样化、便捷化”为特色，为学习者提供线上线下、随时随地可以学习的课程资源和条件，并使文化学习与语言学习同步进行，提高听说读写综合技能和人文素养，树立正确的人生观、价值观和世界观，使学习者成为德才兼备、具有国际视野和跨文化交际能力的新时代大学生。
