课程简介
《思辨式英文写作》课程将思辨能力的培养与英语论说文写作教学有机结合，以思维训练为写作教学手段，以写作材料为思维训练素材，以思促写，以写促思，培养学生思辨能力的同时，提高学生英语写作水平。该课程定位为大学英语类课程，供旨在提高思辨能力和英语写作水平的学生选学。课程兼具工具性和人文性双重性质。就工具性而言，它旨在进一步提高学生的英语运用能力，特别是写作能力，使学生能够在国际交往中用准确的书面语言表达观点、进行沟通。就人文性而言，该课程通过培养学生的思辨能力，培养学生分析问题、解决问题、跨文化交际等21世纪核心素养。
课程学习目标
完成此课程学习，学生将：
知道思辨式写作的基本知识和要素；
运用书面英语就一般话题表达清晰明确的观点；
了解常见的5种论说方法；
运用常见的5种论说方法，进行说理论证，支撑观点；
掌握论说质量评价标准；
权衡他人的论说，并用书面英语进行有力支持或反驳；
综合运用写作和思辨知识，完成篇章写作；
对实际问题进行思辨，形成自己的判断，并进行论说；
以思辨精神审视自己的观点和写作，并进行修正；
使用规范英语准确进行书面表达。
课程教学内容
《思辨式英文写作》慕课教学内容分为（1）思辨能力训练；（2）英语写作知识与技巧；（3）书面英语常见问题三部分。以针对文章思想内容的思辨教学为主，以英语写作知识和书面表达教学为辅，实现内容与形式的有机结合。
